With over 18 years of experience in the construction industry, Cathal brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to every project. Starting his career as a bricklayer, Cathal transitioned into the field of health and safety in 2016—a move driven by a commitment to creating safer, more efficient working environments across the industry.

Since then, Cathal has earned both the NEBOSH Construction Certificate and the Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, along with a suite of additional qualifications. These have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations, risk management, and best practices tailored to complex construction environments.

Cathal has played a key role in some of Ireland’s largest construction projects during his tenure with Ashview Consultants, where his insight and leadership helped to implement high standards of safety and compliance on-site.

His dedication to professional excellence has been formally recognised: he is a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and was honoured with the IIRSM’s Exceptional Young Health and Safety Professional of the Year award. In addition, he is a registered consultant with the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR), affirming his status as a trusted and competent advisor.
